 Conference Purpose:
This is a conference to encourage and train future creationist teachers, ministries and evangelists, giving them the opportunity to present topics of interest to them for peer-review and evaluation. Those who register as speakers are invited to also set up a booth and make available any items for sale that they wish.

In addition, those who wish to participate without speaking are welcome. Those with families are also welcome.

The half-hour sessions will be for participants who will present a topic of their own particular interest. Speakers may as an option choose to present a 15-minute presentation or choose not to prepare a presentation at all and just attend the conference.

Each session will be followed by a question and answer period and will be an opportunity for constructive comments and encouragement. Dr. Jerry Bergman will be the keynote speaker. Dr. Bergman will present his latest research on the insufficiency of mutations as a driving force for evolution. Dr. Bergman holds nine earned degrees and has participated on the human genome project.

Laurence Tisdall will be delivering the Sunday morning message. He is the director of the Creation Science Association Quebec and is one of the most dynamic creation evangelists available.

Lodging and Meals

The cost for the two nights lodging and meals will be $149.00 per person, double occupancy, which will include 6 meals. Lunch on Friday is $7.25 extra. Single rooms are available at an extra charge of $24.50 per day for all lodges. All participants will pay the same rate, including the conference organizers and speakers. The conference cost is $20.00 per person. The meals at the conference center are a special treat with a choice of steak or Lake Superior whitefish for the evening meal.

Those who would rather camp may arrange for a campsite at North Higgins Lake State Park next door through the Michigan Campground Reservation system. This would be a good option for families. Campsites are $27.00 or $29.00 per night plus a $24.00 state park annual sticker. Campers may participate in the meals, priced separately or arrange for their own meals. The conference center also has arrangements with a local hotel should we run out of available lodging for all those who wish to attend. Those who wish to arrive on Thursday night and/or stay over Sunday night may do so. Several have indicated interest in a Monday trip to Mackinac Island, and we will consider that.

The Lake Michigan, Lake Superior, Lake Huron, Lake Erie and Lake Ontario lodge rooms have two single beds and each lodge has a men and women’s bathroom.

If you have questions about the registration process or if you wish special pricing for your specific needs, contact Doug Sharp at (480) 707-7918.

Conference prices:

Lake Michigan, Superior, Huron, Erie or Ontario Lodge with Friday lunch $176.25 ($225.25 single)
Separate meal prices per day: Breakfast and Lunch - $7.25, Dinner $16.50.

The conference will organize several sessions where small groups of like-minded people can confer for discussion of topics of mutual interest and encouragement of research projects.

Guidelines for Presenters:

1.              Submit a title and an abstract of the topic to be presented to the RAE conference team.

2.              Submit your qualifications and areas of interest.

3.              Topics must be related to the Creation-Evolution debate.
