Evolutionists Accuse Creationists
of Trying to Get Rich off Book Sales
A few evolutionists have e-mailed accusations that the motivation for this web site is to get rich off book and video sales. Nothing can be further from the truth. We make books available on-line for those who want to read it without buying it. We have the price low enough to barely cover the cost of production, and any profits are put into the Mount Hope Church missions program. The profit on a book plus 50 cents will buy you a cup of coffee. Even so, there would be no reason why anyone shouldn't make a profit on a book or video if they have spent the time to write or produce it. After all, that is the motivation for most secular works. But there is no excuse for this kind of accusation. There has been so much demand for our videos that we have had to temporarily halt duplication for a while since we cannot keep up with the numbers of requests. Our price for videos is below what it costs to duplicate them. What is our motivation? We believe that this is the truth, and that it is important for people to know that God is creator.
