According to Variety (Oct 25,
1999) CBS <http://www.cbs.com> will broadcast "Adam and Eve," a
four-hour miniseries "that puts a new twist on the Bible story of man's
fall from grace". "Adam and Eve" promises to offer
"provocative" insight into the story of creation and man's first sin.
The miniseries -- from Viacom
Productions and producer Patricia Clifford -- will include lavish special effects
to bring to life the animals of the Garden of Eden, as well as the serpent that
tempts Eve.

On November 2, 2000 Los Angeles
Times writer Richard Natale reported the miniseries is being prepared for
broadcast next year (2001).
