The Revolution Against Evolution is primarily a ministry to remove stumbling blocks to faith in Jesus Christ. We have quite a number of people providing research material that gives people reasons to trust the Bible as the word of God. But, YOU could be the most important link we have to being effective, and that is in intercessory prayer. This role takes no special qualifications; no training, no research, in fact you could be paralyzed flat on your back, and you could be the one to make a tremendous impact on this world for Jesus Christ.
If you would like to be a prayer intercessor for The Revolution Against Evolution, please e-mail us. We will keep you notified and up to date on the major prayer concerns. This is not a job for wimps. One of the most difficult battles is against the fleshly forces and everyday cares that cause us not to pray. It takes guts to do this job. God has chosen prayer as the only vehicle through which he works. All other work we do is useless without the backing of prayer.
Has God called you to be an intercessor? Has he also spoken to you about the Creation-Evolution ministry? We need you. Many of the scientists involved in writing creationist articles face personal attack and even threats on their life. You could be the one to stand in the gap in prayer. Perhaps there is a student struggling with the questions of life, or there may be an atheist whose questions and arguments is hindering people's faith. Or maybe certain public figures have taken stands for or against creation. Your prayers could make the difference.
Perhaps you don't think you have any special abilities or qualifications. If you think that, you're perfect for the job.
