That brings us to Doug’s experience as a child, wanting to know the correct God. H realized that he had to make a decision, knowing that life could not have come about by chance, like dumping pieces of puzzle on the table and expecting it to come together perfectly. He reasoned that the right God would have been the most powerful and He would have the capability of revealing Himself He also reasoned that it might be possible that his attitude might stand in the way, so along with asking Him to reveal himself, he also asked to remove any hindrance caused by poor attitude. Furthermore, he asked for wisdom, like Solomon. There are many ways to get this wrong, but there is only one right answer. Like a mathematical equation, the right answer is the one that is most practical and obvious. We can examine all the false gods and quickly reject the ones that do not satisfy logic and truth.
