Scientific Support for the Hydroplate Theory
Guests: Brian Lauer, Doug Sharp, Rich Geer, Derek Marshall Brian Lauer presents the scientific evidence supporting the Hydroplate Theory and explains it. Dr. Walt Brown developed this theory in the 1990's, and in his book "In the Beginning" he makes predictions based upon his theory that proved to be true when new discoveries were made. Researchers use phrases such as "unexpected", "fossil oddity", "longest standing puzzle", "unanswered questions" when encountering these disc

The Upside-Down Geology of Glacier National Park
Guests: Doug Sharp and Rich Geer Description: This is a historic argument by Creationists used by Henry M. Morris in The Genesis Flood. Walter Lammerts in the 1960’s documented a long list of out of order strata that didn’t fit the traditional geologic column proposed by evolutionists. In 2001, we set out to explore the scope of the strata mix-up in Glacier National Park. First identified by Willis in 1901, the rock strata on top are identified as Precambrian, but the layer u

Evidence for Noah’s Flood
Guests: Dan Biddle, Doug Sharp, Rich Geer Description: Dan Biddle directs the Genesis Apologetics ministry at genesisapologetics.org . His topic is the evidence for Noah’s flood. He gives an overview of the flood, dating it at 2348 BC, 2518 BC or 3168 BC based upon theories about the timeline given in the text of the Bible. You can trace the genealogy from Adam to Christ 10 generations to Noah, 10 generations from Noah to Abraham, 14 generations from Abraham to David and 30

How to Fold a Rock
Guests: Bruce Malone Bruce Malone is speaking at the West Michigan Creation Fellowship, which meets every third Tuesday at the Forest Hills Bible Chapel in Ada, Michigan. His topic is “How to Fold a Rock”, showing that the folded sediments found the the geologic record must have formed quickly and any sediments that are folded must have occurred while the sediments were pliable mud. He explains the history of how long periods of times, millions of years, became embedded in th

Five Reasons Why I’m a Creationist
Charles Bultman explains the scientific evidence that persuaded him that the young earth creation model makes more sense than evolution. The Bible talks about the origin of death, a global flood, and Jesus’ involvement in creation. The five reasons he believes in creation are:
1. Ages of Coal Layers
2. Soft Tissue in Fossils
3. Nano Machines in Cells
4. Origin of Life Chemistry
5. Fine Tuning of Almost Everything

Creation Summit: Geology Theology
The Creation Summit on-line conference was held Feb. 21-22. Doug Sharp’s presentation was about his book Don’t Let Your Geology Mess Up Your Theology. This book gives the historical reasons why the Biblical flood model was abandoned as the explanation for the geological sequence of fossils, and why it was replaced with long ages of millions of years. There is an abundance of scientific evidence now revealed that refutes this idea. Out of place fossils and artifacts, missing o

Violence in the Valley
The geology of much of the southern Arizona landscape around Phoenix and Tucson reminds you of a flat ocean of sand with icebergs of mountains poking their 1/7 of their mass into the air with the flatlands below. It is worth looking at the geologic maps of the area and trying to interpret what you see through Biblical glasses. Since we cannot reverse time and conduct experiments to simulate what happened, we must look at the geologic evidence we find in the present and from t

Monument Valley
Monument Valley consists of sandstone buttes that are 1,000 feet tall, and show erosion of a huge valley that covers a vast area, including the Valley of the Gods across from the San Juan River. The level of this erosion is well explained by runoff from the flood of Noah.

Unique Species Found in Montezuma Well
Within 50 miles of Flagstaff, Arizona, several national monuments and attractions provide clues to God’s creative power and raise many questions. One is Montezuma Well, where five endemic species form a chain of life in an environment that is hostile to most other creatures. From the base of the lake bubbles up carbon dioxide, and at least five, up to twelve species of creatures and plants, live only here.

The Rocks Cry Out
Guy Forsythe of Crying Rocks ministry in Sedona produces a newsletter that goes to every resident. He describes the Biblical view of Creation concerning the beautiful rock formations in the area.Lizard Head is a parabolic recumbent fold that turns over onto itself. Also there are seismites and water pipes that fit the flood model .Most of these features require a 1000 foot climb.to see. But the beautiful landscape is an amazing testimony of God’s design in itself.

Grand Canyon Strata Mixup
In 1986, the Creation Research Society commissioned a study of a spot on the North Kaibab trail in the Grand Canyon where the strata are interbedded, but the gap between the Cambrian and Mississippian strata is 200 million evolutionary years. Because these layers are inter-tongued and there is good integrity between the layers, it indicates that these were all part of the same event and the 200 million years didn’t exist.

Marching to Zion
Ian Juby is the guest on this show. He produces a TV show in Canada called Genesis Week. Zion National Park is a perfect example of the flood model that Ian was able to demonstrate with experimental flumes he built at the Creation Evidence Museum with Carl Baugh and M. E. Clark. Throughout Zion Park, layers of rock exhibit crossbedding, which Ian was able to duplicate with his flume experiments. In many places the Coconino sandstone has amphibian tracks which start out with h

Nevada Upheaval
The geology of Nevada poses a number of insurmountable problems for evolution. The Biblical account of Noah’s Flood explains a lot of what we see if we know what to look for. West of Las Vegas, Nevada, the Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area is a park where the geology is upside down. The rocks are out of order, Cambrian, Jurassic, Triassic and Permian, with the old Cambrian layer on top of the younger Jurassic. 75 miles away, in Valley of Fire State Park to the northeast of La

Exploring the Field
In this episode, we will describe various destinations where you can examine the geological features of the world yourself. I will tell you how to get there, what to look for, and who you might consult at the site.
Usually there is a visitor’s center at the various parks, and you can obtain literature that will give the standard evolutionary perspective explaining how geologists interpret what you are looking at. They are looking at the same evidence a creationist sees, but

Importance of Creation Geology and Where People Get Stuck
The Bible is God’s Word. We can believe that, or we can rely on the words of men who weren’t there and are unable to observe what happened in real time and believe something else. If the Bible is true, it then brings to life ancient history. The gospels of Matthew and Luke record the genealogy from Adam to Jesus Christ, naming all of the generations of individuals. These records match the names listed in the book of Genesis, so that means that the disciples of Jesus took Gene

Origins of Evolutionary Geology
Ancient pagan cultures and accompanying myths had their origins based upon long eons of time. The writers of the books of the Bible, though they were aware of these myths, chose to record the history of the world in this young world timeframe. The majority of church fathers, such as Basil the Great (329-379 AD), Origen (182-251 AD) and Augustine (354-430 AD) believed the days of creation to be 6 24-hour days and that the world was less than 10,000 years old.
About 300 years

Geology Exhibits Amazing Beauty
If you stand on the rim of the Grand Canyon watching the sunset or gaze through the mist over the Na Pali coast on the island of Kauai, you would be quite a cynic to refuse to give glory to God. Even if you realize that these geological feature are remnants of the great flood, the fact is that there is a tremendous measure of beauty in the artistry of colors. Beauty is not a quality that is measurable scientifically. It is something that is self-evident to the eye of the beho

The Geology Story in the Bible
Doug Sharp’s book Don’t Let Your Geology Mess Up Your Theology reveals that there is a geology story in the Bible that is quite specific. It makes statements that causes you to make a choice. Either you believe it to be true or believe that it is false. A third choice is to read into it a different intrepretation other than its straightforward meaning. For example, the very first verse, “In the beginning God created the heaven and earth” refutes atheism, materialism, Deism, un
