Description: Dr. Joel Brown is the director of the Creation Research Society’s Van Andel Creation Research Center, located on the campus of Arizona Christian University in Glendale Arizona. Since June of 2024, they have been experimenting with DNA Sequencing equipment provided by a donation from Revolution Against Evolution, with the ultimate goal of sequencing ancient DNA from fossil dinosaur bones. Since 1999, ongoing research has been conducted documenting the discovery of dinosaur soft tissue in bone samples. Scientists contend that this soft tissue should not last millions of years and shouldn’t exist. Dinosaur proteins have been extracted, and creationists would predict that even samples of fragile DNA could be found if dinosaurs had been on Noah’s Ark and could have lasted quite some time after the flood. Dr. Brown explains the rigorous experimental procedures needed to follow to isolate and sequence dinosaur DNA, and why this will be a project that could last up to five years.
