Description: The genealogy of the ancestry of Jesus Christ to Adam is listed separately for Mary and Joseph, both naming each of the patriarchs and kings in the lineage. There are variations that stretch the timeline from the Masoretic text based upon the Septuagint text that place the date of the flood from 2348 BC to 3070 BC. Rich Geer has studied the arguments for and against these dates, Using the Masoretic text the date for creation is 4004 BC and in the Septuagint it is 5326 BC. Neither scenario allows for the vast chronology of the evolutionary geologic timeline. We explain the reasoning behind the rejection of the conventional geologic column and its dates of millions of years, and offer a scientific explanation that is consistent with the dates in the Bible.
