Description: What’s Lurking Behind Current Events? We have a sense that there are supernatural powers behind all that is occurring today. There is a good supernatural and a bad supernatural. God is more powerful yet He is much more gentle. The bad supernatural is showy, noisy and in your face. How do we determine what is right? If we assume that God is in control, and He is the truth, we can ask Him to lead us into the truth and protect our body, mind and soul. I Corinthians 12:3 says that no man can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. If supernatural principalities are behind the dark schemes that are going on in this world, it isn’t individuals that are responsible but demons that control them. Ugly principalities and powers are being given a voice and unspeakable practices are now commonplace. Matthew 24 describes the signs of the times in the latter days and God warns of of wars and rumors of wars. Sexual perversion, drug use, violence, bitterness, envy and jealousy are all rampant. There is obsession with death, fantasy, occult, fear, guilt, shame, lying and addiction. What are demon antidotes? Submit yourself to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. Trust God through trials with prayer and fasting. Be a giver. Seek after truth, love, encouragement, blessing and be a conveyor of peace.
