Sometimes the devil will use the truth and pervert it to promote a lie. At other times, he will speak the truth to gain credibility or to use reverse psychology in order to get you to believe the opposite. There are many cases where this applies to the creation-evolution issue. A mixture of truth and lies is deadly, like a little arsenic in the salt.

You can have observations in the present that are scientific, but often the conclusions are false because of fallacial logic. For example, we observe soft tissue in dinosaur bone. The evolutionist concludes, “Yes, it can last that long.” If you find carbon-14 in coal, diamonds or limestone, it’s contamination. The solution is to ask God for discernment.
