On of the first commands given to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden was the responsibility to take dominion of the resources that God placed in the garden. That is why Christians should take seriously the responsibility to care for the environment. That is in contrast to what extreme environmentalists propose, and many of the things they fight for are irresponsible and cause much more harm than good.
