Updated: Mar 2

Guests: Dr. Joel Brown, Doug Sharp, Rich Geer

The Creation Research Society is the oldest continuously operating creation science organization. Dr. Joel Brown is the director of the Van Andel Creation Research Center located in Glendale, Arizona on the campus of the Arizona Christian University. Founded in 1963, the Creation Research Society publishes a quarterly technical journal dedicated to creation research. Recently, the Revolution Against Evolution provided the funds for the center to obtain a DNA sequencing machine. It consists of a laboratory device connected to a powerful computer. Dr. Brown, in this video, shows how a sample is prepared and purified for DNA analysis. He also shows how samples are collected. The first project was analyzing various species of cactus to see if there is a pattern in the DNA that helps with classification. Ultimately what they are hoping to find are samples of DNA from dinosaur soft tissue and become the first to sequence it.
