Would it had been Better if I had Never Been Born?

A Christian posted this question on his FaceBook site wondering, with all of the evil in the world, and with abortion causing lives to cease right at the start, if for many it might be better if they had never been born. That raises questions why God would create or allow such a condition to exist in this world.
