Samuel Wilberforce was the bishop of Winchester in England, son of William Wilberforce, the man who was responsible for ending the slave trade in England. Samuel was famous for debating Thomas Huxley concerning Darwin’s theory of evolution, and his written review of Darwin’s work in 1860 is the subject of this show.
