It’s not About the Evidence
I find it amazing that many people decide to reject the Bible and God, especially since we now have many creationist organizations that expose the bankruptcy of the Darwinian worldview and that the message of creation is readily available for anyone who wants to seek it. But for most people, even those who go to church, seeking a relationship with God is often the last thing on their mind. It’s not about the evidence for God, it’s the lack of desire to know Him.

River Deltas are Young
The deltas of the world’s major rivers do not contain enough sediment for millions of years of erosion. If you look at the major watersheds of North America, the deltas of the Mississippi, St. Lawrence, Colorado, and Columbia River watersheds show very little sediment. Except for the bird’s foot delta of the Mississippi, all of them are estuaries where the flow of the river exits into a wide basin.
The rate of sediment flowing in the Mississippi River is an average 436,000 to

The Great Oxygenation Event
You wouldn’t believe what an unbeliever has to believe in order to be an unbeliever.
Origin of life experiments require a primitive atmosphere without oxygen in order for amino acids, nucleotides, and proteins to evolve. The biochemical building blocks of life could not form when exposed to oxygen. But they must assume that photosynthetic bacteria evolved and produced an oxygen supply to support life.
This creates a dilemma: Oxidation is an enemy of the formation of the build

The Young Na Pali Coast
The dinner cruise we took on Kauai along the Na Pali coast revealed to me a little bit about the geomorphology of Kauai, and it flies in the face of the evolutionary explanation that the islands popped up in sequence over millions of years and eroded to current size.
The cruise starts in Port Allen on the southern coast of Kauai, and travels along the arid rain shadow of the northern coastal mountains. The southern edge of Kauai is rather flat. There is a massive sandy beach

Hawaii Volcanos
There is a Creationist explanation for the origin of the Hawaiian Islands. A major component of creation theory is that during Noah’s flood, there was a catastrophic movement of the continental plates, and that a hot spot originated near the Aleutian Islands and rapidly created seamount volcanos that traveled down a fissure toward Hawaii, then formed the Midway Island seamounts, and slowed down to form the Hawaiian Islands. The current eruptions on the Big Island of Hawaii re

Bryce Canyon
The geology of Bryce Canyon can only superficially be explained by an evolutionary scenario. But their explanations include orogeny, uplift, erosion, and massive deposition with strata tilted over the area of several states. When you look at Bryce Canyon, it is near the top of the Grand Staircase, but the rocks are supposed to be Cretaceous. Evolutionists admit that the spires and hoodoos are young geologically, and because the rocks are sedimentary, they cannot be dated with

Zion National Park
A RAE Adventure took us to visit Zion National Park as part of a tour of the Grand Staircase and the Colorado Plateau. The most prominent feature in the White Cliffs at Zion was 7,000 feet of crossbedded sandstone layers. Evolutionists claim that this is the result of millions of years of buildup of desert sand dunes, but Creationists maintain, with experimental evidence, that these crossbedded layers are features of successive waves of the Great Flood of Noah and that it is

Historical Geology
‘Evolutionists look to historical geology for proof that evolution took place.
Historical geology involves the study of fossils (paleontology) and the rock
formations found on and in the earth (stratigraphy).’ Derek and Sue examine
the second chapter of the book Revolution Against Evolution by Doug Sharp.

What’s at the Bottom of the Grand Canyon?
Linda Rusiecki and her friend hikes to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and shares their photographs. At the bottom of the Grand Canyon are rock strata that appear to be vertical rather than horizontal. Many creation scientists believe that these rocks, the Vishnu Schist, are creation week rocks. They are vertical because they are metamorphic rocks with vertical faults. Doug and Rich explain evolutionary and creationist models for the formation of the Grand Canyon.

The Broken Clocks of Deep Time
Evolutionists use radiometric dating methods to justify their claims of deep time. But are the results accurate? Charlie Wolcott explains the assumptions of radiometric dating and analyzes the exponential decay function which is the primary equation that is used to derive the age of the earth and the rock layers in the geologic column. The assumptions with the decay equation are:
1. Known initial amount of parent isotope
2. Known initial amount of daughter isotope
3. Constant

Grand Canyon Geology
We have made quite a number of trips to the Grand Canyon since the first one in 1999, but there are always new things to learn. There are two competing creationist models for the formation of the Grand Canyon, but they are quite similar. Dr. Stephen Austin proposed a breached dam that came from post flood lakes behind the canyon in the Navajo land. Michael Oard believes that sheet runoff after the flood caused a channel to be carved through the mountain. At the great unconfor

Carved in Stone by Timothy Clarey – A Book Review
Carved in Stone is Timothy Clarey’s March 2020 book release, and it is a massive, beautiful work outlining his case for Catastrophic Plate Tectonics, also known as CPT. Catastrophic Plate Tectonics is one of several creationist flood models that we describe in our updated book Revolution Against Evolution, and in our recently released version, we discuss CPT along with the hydroplate model, vertical tectonics, meteorite bombardment, the water vapor canopy theory, and the curi

The Great Freeze After the Flood
The Ice Age is postulated to have occurred shortly after Noah’s flood, caused by weather patterns set up from warm oceans after the flood piling up snow in the interiors of the continents but causing temperate climates at the edges of the continents. Climate changes occurring while the earth was drying out accounts for features of geomorphology like drumlins, kames, eskers, moraines to be left behind by glaciation.

The Cambrian Explosion
About 75% of the geologic column (according to evolution) is Precambrian, the layers of rock devoid of fossils. Then, at the Cambrian, fully formed creatures appear in the fossil record. This baffles evolutionists and the problem of explaining the layers of rock, many of which are not in the order in which evolutionists expect, has the burden of proof placed in those who believe in deep time.

The Deep Time Deception by Michael Oard
Michael Oard is one of the most prolific geology writers within the Creation movement. His book The Deep Time Deception is an excellent overview of the biblical perspective on geology and explains how geological evidence derived from the evolutionist’s own research fits the young earth model better than the concept of deep time: millions of years.

Michigan’s Geology from a Creationist Perspective
Michigan’s Geology tells a story of how sediment was laid down during the flood of Noah in a circular pattern in a basin. It was sheared off with flood runoff and then glaciated. The idea of uniformitarianism was used by Charles Lyell to estimate the age of the Niagara Falls by extrapolating the rate of erosion found in the present to come up with a time scale. This time scale is disproven by historical records, yet it is used as a foundation for evolutionary age estimates.

Does Water Flow Uphill?
Many ideas have been proposed for the formation of the Grand Canyon, but the physical impossibility of water flowing uphill causes us to question the idea that the Colorado River cut the canyon over millions of years. If you leave the Grand Canyon South Rim toward Cameron, you descend in elevation thousands of feet. A catastrophic flood is a better explanation.
